(Summary: The Revolution in Tiara and Cope, preceded under the Cross and the Banner, now declared “a failure” by a Bishop)
In my most recent blog, I highlighted the recent endeavour by Pope Leo XIV to commence a catechesis of the documents of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II – go here for the original twitter post by the papal account) where he said that this catechesis was dedicated “to a fresh reading of its Documents”. He enthroned and enshrined the council by stating that “The Council’s Magisterium remains even today the North Star guiding the Church’s journey”. (go here for the blog)
I cited in that blog how people in the comments of the Papal post were tired of the shenanigans of the post-Vatican II hierarchy and I reflected the sentiment of many by sharing some of the tired, weary, fiery, and almost uncharitable comments in the same blog; and for good reason. Imagine a hierarchy that constantly touts a single council as the “North Star” or an illuminative source that needs to be followed like the Bethlehem star, all while the councils results have been speaking for themself for decades!
I made light about this emphasis by Leo on my Substack by citing that the only time the post-conciliar hierarchy speaks of evangelization, it is to tom-tom their precious council!

In the previous blog I also cited a brief quote of that great hero of the modernist: Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who while referring to the subject of biological evolution had claimed that it was
“a general condition to which all other theories, all hypotheses, all systems must bow and which they must satisfy henceforward if they are to be thinkable and true. Evolution is a light illuminating all facts, a curve that all lines must follow”1
Similar to Teilhard’s observation of evolution, which I swapped for Vatican II in my previous blog, in the book by J.R.R. Tolkien titled The Lord of the Rings (also a massively popular cult movie), “The Ring to Rule Them All” refers to “One Ring” forged by the Dark Lord Sauron to control the other Rings of Power and dominate Middle-earth, its inscription stating, “One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them“.

One can use the same analogy with Vatican II just by replacing the word “Ring” with “Council” and the optics become evidently clear. Erstwhile pre-conciliar Councils and Popes are used as convenient foot notes when it serves the modernists in Rome favourably; other than that, the 20 previous ecumenical Councils are relegated to the archives of the Vatican, being spoken about in passing with cursory & scant respect.
In another previous blog, which was actually a letter to a priest titled “The failure of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II)” I wrote the following:
“With the church in freefall, if a corporate entity released a product, which five to 10 years later continued to erode investor confidence, resulted in complaint after complaint from customers about their core product, while its leaders kept embarrassing the board with scandal after scandal, be it abuse of power, sexual abuse, abject corruption, financial malfeasance, lack of corporate social responsibility, & a lack of basic corporate ethics, they would have either folded up before the 10th year – with their leaders thrown in prison, or the board would have corrected course by reversing the overarching agenda that had been outlined years ago. Use the same analogy with Vatican II, and it is difficult to explain to a corporate board of directors why the Vatican persists with the policies of a council that was clearly an embarrassing failure in every sense of the word”
In recent news, it is now widely known that Microsoft commenced releasing it’s Windows 11 version Operating System (OS) since late 2021. By end of 2025, Microsoft was expected to withdraw support for the previous OS of Windows 10. However, users are reportedly peeved by the Windows 11 OS which many have claimed was rolled out to increase profitability to shareholders than actually drive PC user benefit. Persistent bug and stability problems, update failures, sluggish performance, quality assurance issues, annoying Artificial Intelligence pop-ups & advertisements, and many others have led severe brand and reputational loss, not to mention perhaps even impacting the corporates bottom line revenues.
Microsoft launched emergency updates, etc. in order to fire-fight the situation, but one way or the other they will have to find a way to resolve the issue satisfactorily in favour of restoring customer trust, else they will loose market share & profitability, with the worse-case being that the brand could become redundant if they continue to believe that Windows 11 was a great OS and that all that was necessary, was for users to undergo training programs that will educate them of the changes, and perhaps bring users up to speed by “a fresh reading” of the ‘user manuals’ of the OS! Imagine the frustration of the users if Microsoft ignored the flaws of their product and did not fix Windows 11 in its entirety apart from denying support to users who want to go back to the Windows 10 OS. I am sure you get the point, 2,3,4,5
Enter Bishop Eleganti.
LifeSite News just reported that Bishop Eleganti had some strong words to say about “The Council to rule all other Councils”.

From the article by LifeSite news are the following excerpts as cited by Bp. Eleganti:
Looking back, I have to say that the springtime of the Church never came; what came instead was an indescribable decline in the practice and knowledge of the faith, widespread liturgical formlessness and arbitrariness (to which I myself contributed in part without realizing it).
Imagine the strength of character it takes to (1) go against the current, especially if one is a Bishop, and (2) to correct ones own views regarding the Council.
Speaking of the tragic changes introduced to the liturgy that resulted in the Novus Ordo Missae, he says that
…This was done in an elitist, disruptive, and reckless manner by the Roman Liturgical Commission and was imposed on the entire Church by Paul VI, not without causing major fractures and rifts in the mystical body of Christ, which remain to this day.
He explicitly claims that the Council is a failure in a rather matter-of-fact, straightforward manner, with no if’s and buts.
The most revolutionary among the reformers were always aware of their revolutionary acts. But their post-conciliar reform, their processes, have failed – across the board.
While this is not the place to dive into who Bishop Eleganti is and his background etc. it suffices to say that Bishop Eleganti does not appear to be a hermeneutic of continuity believer, especially if he says that the Council itself is a failure, that too without mincing any words, and without pretending that the documents need to be examined “in light of tradition”.
I will be following this space for more news, as it will be interesting to watch any further updates on this from either Bp. Eleganti himself or from Rome, especially from the post-conciliar cabal that rules the roost in America and Rome.
Meanwhile, pray for Bp. Eleganti that he has the strength and courage to face the Goliath of modern Rome. A few have walked that path and it was not easy. Just ask Abp Lefebvre (or those still faithful within the SSPX), Bp Strickland, Fr. Altman, Fr. Dave Nix, or Abp Vigano.
Speaking of Fr. Nix, I found his take on the same subject interesting. Give that a read as well.
Ave Maria
