About Me
I am a lay Catholic from Mumbai, India, compelled to write about why the Catholic Church is what it is today.
For all intents and purposes, I align myself with Traditional Catholicism, which I believe to be the authentic expression and hermeneutic of Catholicism. If my views come across as ‘extreme’, it is perhaps because contemporary Catholicism (post Vatican II) has all but buried what prior generations held as Catholicism.
What I intend from this page
1) The blogs written herein are not intended to have people leave the Catholic Church over the current crisis. On the contrary, they are intended to expose the state of moral decay within the Roman Catholic Church intentioned in a spirit of having Catholics know the truth. The problem can only be solved through first acknowledging that it is one, followed by prayer, fasting and voicing concerns.
2) There is no intent to display hatred for the Pope. There will be critical statements on respective Popes and their papacy in my letters and blogs. Criticism is not however to be treated as hatred of them. Being critical is part of the process of love. It has a Biblical precedent (see the book of Acts where St. Paul rebuked St. Peter our first Pope). But I believe it always must be manifested with the right attitude.
3) I do not intend spreading rumours or false information. The information in my blogs is intended to be factual, unless indicated as opinions.
